How the journey began

Terri specializes in relationship coaching and creating support networks for women but everyone knows her first love has always been writing.  Even when she worked as a journalist for Forbes, she couldn’t wait to get home and in her spare time, craft poetry and heartwarming stories that would make young readers smile and laugh while learning lessons about persistence, self-acceptance, self-love, gratitude and generosity.  Though Terri filled her laptop with a plethora of unique children’s stories, success in other genres and pursuits in other facets of life would keep these stories stored away.  She found success in the fiction market with the publishing of Sins of My Mother, a novel chronicling the spiritual journey of a “people pleasing” woman who sacrificed her personal happiness, in an attempt to mend the lives of her dysfunctional family. Since then, she has co-written and executive produced the off Broadway play, Sister’s Keeper and also written I Know Who I Am, a self-help guide that helps empower women by building positive self-esteem.

Still, Terri is most excited to return to her first love and enter a new era with the debut of her first children’s book, Destiny’s Big Day. A timeless story that teaches the value of hard work, perseverance and determination, readers will be taken on an adventure as Destiny lets nothing stand in the way of making sure her voice is heard. There is no doubt that this children’s book will be the first of many to come for the author.

I think writing about social problems should be the objective of all writers, like you, and should pinpoint that these “sins” are why we are not happy from inside.
